ALF Knowledge · In development

The answers that live in one person’s head.

Every business has questions only one person can answer. Until they are written down, nothing else in the system can use them — including Emma.

Not for sale yet.early access, shaped around the questions you actually have

What it holds

One approved answer per question, with the source it came from, so the same question never gets two answers.

What you get

Those answers supplied to Reception when a caller asks, and the list of questions customers keep asking that nobody has answered yet.

What it isn’t

A guess. A question with no agreed answer becomes a callback, not an invention — the same rule Reception already runs on.

Questions

About ALF Knowledge.

When will this be available?

There is no date yet, and we would rather say that than pick one. It is in development; when it is live this page will say so, and the pricing page will move it out of "in development" on the same day. Nothing about it is for sale in the meantime.

What happens to a question nobody has answered yet?

It becomes a callback, not a guess. A question with no agreed answer is passed to a person with the caller’s details attached, which is the same rule ALF Reception already runs on today.

What does early access involve?

Telling us which questions your customers actually ask, so the module is shaped around them rather than around a guess. It is a conversation, not a commitment, and it does not put you on a list to be sold to.

Can I pay for it now to reserve it?

No. It contains work that is not finished, so there is nothing to sell you yet. ALF Reception is available today and everything in it is working — if the problem you have is the phone, that is the module that can help now.

Do the modules need each other to work?

No. Each is bought and run on its own. They share the same customer and job records when more than one is running, which is what makes a follow-up know what the call was about, but none of them requires another to be useful.
